It houses many Viking, Roman and Medieval artefacts. The gardens run from outside the Museum to the river Ouse walled with beautiful flower borders.
There are many ways to visit the many attractions that York holds, by boat along the river, on an open topped bus, guided walks, you may also be daring enough to go on the ‘Original Ghost Walk of York’ which has been claimed as the world’s first ghost walk.
